The CMC Mediation Process
1: Registration Arrive at least 20 minutes before the session to register andcomplete the administrative process. Our officer willreceive you, help verify your identity and make sureeverything is in order before the mediation begins. |

2: Opening Statement Our mediator will begin with an opening statement, setting thetone for a constructive dialogue. Some ground rules willbe laid out to ensure everyone feels heard and respected throughout the process. |

3: Sharing your Perspective In a joint session at the CMC, you'll have the chance to shareyour perspective and explain your side of the storywithout interruptions. |

4: Understanding each other After you've had your say, it's time to listen. The other partywill share their version of the dispute, and our mediatorwill help summarise the key issues raised. |

5: Confidential Discussions If there are sensitive matters that require private discussion,our mediator will speak to each party separately. Your confidentiality is important, and nothing will be sharedwithout your permission. |

6: Reaching A Mutual Agreement Our mediator may alternate between joint and private sessionsto explore different avenues until a mutual agreementis reached. |

7: Finalising The Agreement Once an agreement is reached, our mediator will document theterms. You'll have the opportunity to review and signthe agreement. A copy of the agreement will be provided toyou. |

8: Conclusion If an agreement couldn't be reached, we'll close the sessionrespectfully. You may choose to explore other options toaddress the dispute which includes seeking legal adviceor proceeding to the Courts. |
