Apply to be a Volunteer Mediator

To apply as a CMC Volunteer Mediator, you have to meet the following criteria:

1. Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.

2. Be aged 30 years or older.

3. Be fluent in both written and spoken English.

4. Be proficient in a local language or dialect.

5. Be comfortable using the Zoom platform for conducting mediation.

6. Actively involved in community or voluntary work, either currently or in the past, is important.

7. Have attained at least a Level 1 Accreditation from the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) within the last two years.

8. Has an interest in contributing to building a gracious and harmonious community in Singapore.

The CMC recruits new volunteers every year, with applications closing at the end of September.

Selected candidates will be invited to attend the Selection Interviews, which are usually held from October to November each year.

Selection interviews are conducted in the last quarter of each year. Only suitable candidates will be invited for an interview.
